- Upper MidwestMarquette University
Founded in 1881, Marquette University offers over 80 majors in Business, Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Communication, Social Sciences, Hard Sciences, and the Humanities. Many programs offer accelerated options so you can earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in 5 years instead of the normal 6 to 7. Scholarships are available for international students without government sponsorship.
Marquette is home to 8,238 undergraduates including over 564 international students from over 60 countries. - Minnesota State University, Mankato
Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU or MNSU), also known as Minnesota State, is a public comprehensive university located in Mankato, Minnesota. The university sits atop the bluff of the Blue Earth River valley, approximately 75 miles (121 km) southwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Established in law as the Second State Normal School in 1858, it was designated in Mankato in 1866, and officially opened as Mankato Normal School in 1868. It is the second oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. It is also the second largest public university in the state, and has over 119,000 alumni worldwide.
- University of Michigan-Flint
The University of Michigan-Flint has over 130 degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate level, including ranked and popular programs such as Business, Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Sciences. With 8,000 students (and more than 300 international students from 40 countries) and an outstanding faculty/student ratio of 13:1, UM-Flint’s size fosters relationships that allow for personalized learning and individual growth. UM-Flint also has an English Language Program, including a Pathway Program, for students still studying ESL.

University of Northern Iowa
The University of Northern Iowa is a comprehensive public university with 12,000 students representing over 60 countries. We offer 90 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate programs as well as an intensive English program. UNI has been recognized as a “Best Business School” but is also known for strong programs in education, natural sciences, social sciences and the arts.
The 900-acre park-like campus features more than 65 major buildings within a 10-minute walking distance of each other and was found to be one of the safest campuses in the U.S. In addition, the state of Iowa was recently ranked the #1 Best State by U.S. News and World Report.
When considering the low cost of tuition and living, and the high quality of education received, UNI is considered one of the top values for education in the U.S. Although UNI is a medium-size university, it has a small-school atmosphere, with only an average of 26 students per class, and is in a friendly university community.

Winona State University is a comprehensive public university holding the #1 Student success rate in the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities.
